Hi everyone! My name is Sarah Stine and I am a pelvic health physical therapist joining the Inspire PT team! I grew up in DeWitt, Mi (right by MSU), but recently moved to Royal Oak! I graduated from Oakland University in 2020 with a bachelors in health sciences and then continued my education and received my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan Flint in 2023. I was a gymnast growing up then transitioned to springboard diving during high school as well as in college at Oakland. I have always had an interest in pelvic health physical therapy due to my experience with incontinence while tumbling as a gymnast. I have seen first hand how important pelvic floor physical therapy is and how there is a lack of awareness of these services and a lack of providers in our community. Because of this, I took additional pelvic health related courses while in physical therapy school and chose to have several clinical rotations working in pelvic health. I am a huge advocate for trauma informed care and sensitive practices to ensure every patient is comfortable and truly understands their treatment and why we are doing it. I enjoy utilizing a variety of techniques such as manual therapy, movement re-education, strengthening exercises and mobility techniques to address patients goals! In my free time I really enjoy reading, riding my bike, doing anything crafty, and walking my Rottweiler puppy, Julius! I also have a 4 year old cat, Delilah who is my absolute world and has for sure made me a crazy cat mom. I am really excited to be joining the Inspire Physical Therapy team and I look forward to working with you and helping you meet your goals!
